
Laura Beschi is an Italian dance artist based in Berlin. Born in Como, she developed an early passion for the performing arts and, after completing her high school education, dedicated herself to the study of contemporary dance. She trained at Balletto Teatro di Torino and the Real Conservatorio de Danza Mariemma, graduating from the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) in 2017.
Early in her career, she collaborated with a range of internationally renowned artists and companies, including Francisco Córdova, Manuel Ronda, Michikazu Matsune, Anna Katalin Németh, Tanz Company Gervasi, Roman Baca, Judith Sánchez Ruíz, and Nicola Galli.
Until the end of 2024, she was a full-time member of the Berlin-based company cie. toula limnaios, with whom she created and performed in numerous productions. Her performance career has taken her across Europe, North, Central and South America, the Middle East, and Russia.
From 2025 onward, she has focused on developing her own artistic work together with Alessio Scandale, combining physical precision with a refined sense of theatricality. Their duet Room with View premiered in Potsdam in August 2025.
Alongside her work as a performer, Laura has developed and shared her movement practices, Sparkling Bodies and BetweenUs, teaching them at renowned festivals and institutions such as B12, Sasha Waltz and Guests, Ida Brukner University along others.
Recently, she began a new collaboration with the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, working with Rebecca Howell, Robert Carsen, Komische Oper Berlin and choreographer Joy Alpuerto Ritter on the acclaimed production Oz-Der Zauber in uns.
